Kids Voting :: School Representatives

Kids Voting programs are available to teachers and students in every Mecklenburg County school, homeschool and youth program. This connection is made possible through school partnerships and the outstanding efforts of Kids Voting School Representatives.

School representatives connect their schools to Kids Voting and provide a critical link between classrooms, teachers, students, parents and Kids Voting. Teachers are nominated or designated by their schools to lead Kids Voting activities there - they are invaluable members of the Kids Voting team!

School representatives:

  • Plan and implement Kids Voting activities at their schools
  • Receive and distribute (free!) Kids Voting curriculum and lessons to classrooms at their schools
  • Lead school efforts to be involved in Kids Voting Election Day
  • Have opportunities for teacher training and leadership development
  • Learn about civic education opportunities and community service email updates
  • Engage students, teachers and families in civic participation
  • Provide valuable feedback to Kids Voting, help develop new programming
  • And more!

Want to thank your School Representative for their efforts? Interested in learning what your school is doing to engage students in active citizenship and Kids Voting? Contact the Kids Voting Representative at your school  or Amy Farrell at Kids Voting. Your school not on the list? Contact Amy Farrell at Kids Voting: 704-343-6999 or info@kidsvoting.org
