Kids Voting Mecklenburg - Youth
Video Contest
Kids Voting teaches kids the importance of civic participation. The opposite of civic participation - apathy - can have terrible results for a community. Gladys Pyle, a US Senator who served in the 1930s, once said: "The Greek word for idiot, literally translated, means one who does not participate in politics. That sums up my conviction on the subject."
